The Impact of English Educational Tourism on the Growth of Local Economy: A Systematic Literature Review

This systematic literature review (SRL) examines the impact of English educational tourism (EET) on growth local Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Through a comprehensive search academic databases and assessment study quality, total 49 studies were selected for inclusion. The varied in design, location, intervention, but all focused relationship between SMEs. SLR focuses typology SMEs EET, its rural economy community empowerment, SMEs’ challenges growing their businesses. findings suggest that can have positive communities, including increased revenue, cultural preservation, poverty reduction. However, it is crucial to ensure benefits EET are distributed fairly communities actively involved decision-making process maximize impacts mitigate potential negative impacts. Overall, results be promising strategy promoting economy, more research needed fully understand conditions under which this most effective.
